Bajra Rava is pearl millet semolina for making a delicious breakfast. Also known as Bajra, it is super healthy and packed with valuable nutrients to start the day off right.

Storage advice

Keep in a cool, dark and dry place. After opening, transfer the contents to an airtight container.


Preparation

  1. Heat ghee or oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds, urad lentils, asafoetida and curry leaves.
  3. Bake this for 10 to 15 minutes on low heat.
  4. Add onion, green pepper and pre-cooked vegetables and fry.
  5. Add Ragi Millet Rava and 2 cups of water.
  6. Cover the pan with the lid and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. The millet absorbs the water and forms a mushy mixture.
  8. Garnish with cilantro and lemon juice and serve hot.
