Sweet Kuzhi Paniyara Flour is a carefully formulated mix specially designed to prepare traditional South Indian delicacies called “Sweet Kuzhi Paniyaram.”

This flour is a perfect balance of high-quality ingredients that together provide an authentic taste and texture that transports you straight to the cuisines of South India.

Rice flour (57%), jaggery powder, wheat flour, cardamom powder, ginger powder, sodium carbonate INS 500 (II), iodised salt.

Storage advice

Store in a cool, dark and dry place. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container.

Preparation

  1. Mix 500 grams of flour with 400 ml of water.
  2. Stir this for about 5 minutes until the jaggery powder dissolves and forms a consistent batter.
  3. Let it rest for about 15 minutes.
  4. Heat the Kuzhi Paniyaram pan over medium heat.
  5. Add some oil or ghee in the pan and pour the batter into the cavities and cook over medium heat until the bottom is golden brown.
  6. Turn the paniyarams over and fry the other side until golden brown and done.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with grated coconut or a dash of extra jaggery if desired.
